Acrylic

With Acrylic, it's the easiest thing in the world to create any chosen shape by drilling, sawing, bonding and routing. Acrylic with a textured surface can also be cold curved or durably thermoformed, offering completely new opportunities to obtain surprising effects.

Acrylic weighs less than half as much as glass but is eleven times more break-resistant. Those are major advantages for anyone who needs to transport, install, fabricate or fasten the material.

Modern advertising messages make high demands on the design, variety of shapes and luminous efficiency of the Display.

With Screen-printing, Laser Engraving and Computer cut Vinyl, you can choose an appropriate branding option.

Branding

There is a significant investment to the purchase of a retail stand to display your products or brochures. You have the cost of the stand, then freight to the location and the cost of setting up and developing the idea.

The last thing you want is to have someone else then get the benefit!

I have seen very good stands out in stores, doing an excellent job of displaying the products, only to realise that the stand has been hijacked and now is displaying another competitor’s products!

One way to avoid someone hijacking your display stand is to make it so unique, that it will not easily fit anyone else’s product. However this may not always be possible or be appropriate.

But there is one simple way to deter hijacking - through the use of branding!

It is unlikely “Fizzy Sodas Inc”, will want to display their products in your well branded “Super Sodas” display unit.

Equally brochure holders with your branding will tend to stay filled with your brochures.

We can use many methods to brand our display products for you.

Screen-printing is one option, which provides the option of colour, and several colours if required.

Computer cut vinyl is also a good option for units, especially smaller runs where screen-printing is not viable. Colours are slightly more limited than screen-printing and computer cut signage lends it’s self to larger logos as fine detail can be lost.

Laser engraving, last, but not least, is a very good option; once again it is best suited to smaller runs. Normal engraving gives white lettering on a clear item, but logos can be coloured. It is also permanent, so cannot be peeled off or removed!

Caring for you

Plastic Displays

We are often asked what to use to clean plastic displays.

For general cleaning we recommend a soft feather duster to brush out dust and debris that will have accumulated. It is best to periodically remove all the stock and give it a good dusting.

If you need to remove fingerprints and give the plastic a really good clean, use a mild detergent or a glass cleaner – we use Mr Muscle. Make sure you use a clean soft cloth!

Avoid using strong cleaners containing alcohol, e.g. avoid meths, unless you have a sticky residue that cannot be removed with anything else – use sparingly! Always avoid anything with abrasive properties.

If you need to fix a damaged surface e.g. remove scratches, “Brasso” metal polish is a good option, but use sparingly!
